About

I’m a serving member of HM Forces who loves horse racing. I grew up just outside Liverpool and visited Aintree, Chester and Haydock regularly, as well as occasional visits to York and Doncaster. I joined the military in 1999 and I spent a large amount of time deployed in the first 15 years of my career.

In 2014, I managed to get a job closer to home where I once again had time to rediscover the sport of kings. I settled my family in Cornwall, but I soon got a job in Portsmouth. Being away from family 5 days a week is hard, but I took the opportunity to focus on horse racing and visited Kempton, Salisbury, Goodwood and Lingfield amongst others.

After taking part in competitions like BetRef and BetShare for several years, I finally decided it was time for a change. Picking winners is fun, but I love talking and writing about horse racing and this site gives me the freedom to do so. I’’m truly passionate about horse racing.

Thanks for reading.
